Committed to serving all who wish to participate, each year YMCA Camp Minikani provides scholarships totaling more than $150,000 and benefiting over 350 youth. The funds for these scholarships are raised through the annual Strong Kids Campaign. The campaign allows us to provide a camp experience to hundreds of children each year, regardless of the financial difficulties their families may be facing. As the need for these scholarships grows, we count on the support of generous donors to help us provide the Camp Minikani experience to all children. 100% of each dollar raised goes directly to helping kids come to camp.
Through your donation to the YMCA Strong Kids Campaign, you will give more kids and families the opportunity to experience the life-changing power of camp.
A gift of:
$1500 will support five children in equestrian day camp and allow them to ride and care for a horse for a week.
$1000 will support one child for two weeks of summer resident camp, or five weeks of summer day camp.
$1000 will give one child the opportunity to participate in two weeks of Explorer Camp, a stepping stone in our Leadership Training Program.
$500 will support one child for one semester of Preschool Education.
$350 will help sponsor one teen in our Leadership Training Program for one year.
