Be a part of the Spirit of Minikani by volunteering your time. We realize that many of you may be interested in helping or volunteering at camp but have never had the opportunity to share your talents with us or to find out about what type of things camp is in need of. So…here’s your chance!
Send an email to minikani@ymcamke.org with your volunteer interest/ability. We’ll contact you to get you started!
Please include any of the areas that you feel would best meet your talents.
- Volunteer at our Equestrian Center- general up keep, assist with lessons and Girl Scout groups.
- Campaigner for our Strong Kids Campaign- or encouraging your business to become a sponsor.
- Work projects- Help keep camp beautiful!!!
- Join a Committee- Most of our committee's meet on a monthly basis to support specific areas of camp, generate new ideas and plan events...
- Financial Development
- Building and Grounds
- Outdoor Education
- Equestrian Programs
- Board of Managers
- Help out during Summer Camp
- Volunteer at our Parent/Alumni tent during check in
- Health Care professionals: helping with health checks during check in
- Sitting on a parent panel during staff training or for strategic planning sessions
- Hosting an in-house camper recruitment party
