Watch the local weather reports to get a better understanding of how to pack for each day.
- 1 lightweight jacket or sweatshirt
- 1 pr. Long pants (a must for horseback riding)
- 1 pr. Shorts
- 1 swim towel
- Rain gear (depending on weather forecast)
- 1 Small backpack for carrying all camp gear needed for the days activities (A must)
- 1 pair comfortable play / walking shoes
- 1 swimsuit
- Sunscreen (waterproof SPF 30 or higher recommended)
- insect repellent
- 1 water bottle
- 1 pr. sturdy flat soled, close-toed shoes with heel (A must for horseback riding)
Optional Items:
- 1 cotton t-shirt or white item of clothing for tie-dying
- 1 camera with film
- ASTM certified riding helmet (if you wish to use your own)
- Fishing equipment (if child has signed up for the skill)
- Deck of cards
*Note: Campers are not allowed to ride if not wearing proper attire. |

- 6 t-shirts
- 2 pr. Long pants (cool nights and horseback riding)
- 3 pr. Shorts
- 6 pr. Underwear
- 1 Sweatshirt, sweater, or light jacket
- 1 pr. Warm pajamas
- 1 Flashlight with batteries (new item in camp store)
- 1 hat to block sun
- Rain poncho or rain jacket
- 2 Bath towels
- 2 Washcloths
- Comfortable hiking/walking shoes
- 6 pr. Cotton socks
- 1 pr. Outdoor, athletic sandals (No flip-flops)
- 1 water bottle (Lexon plastic or metal preferred)
- 1 Laundry bag
- 1 sleeping bag (for campout and/or bunk) + twin sized sheet set and blanket for cabin bunk bed.
- 1 pillow with pillow case
- 2 swimsuits
- Sunscreen (waterproof SPF 30 or higher recommended)
- Wipe-on insect repellent
- Personal hygiene items (not limited to):
- Bath soap
- Shampoo
- Deodorant
- Toothbrush
- Tooth paste
- Shower sandals

- Pen/pencil/paper/envelopes/postcards/stamps
Optional Items:
- 1 cotton t-shirt (for tie-dying)

- 1 pr. Sweatpants or athletic pants (medium to heavy weight)
- 4 pr. Shorts
- 13 pr. Underwear
- 1 Sweatshirt medium to heavy weight, sweater, or medium weight jacket
- 1 pr. Warm pajamas
- 1 Flashlight with extra batteries
- 1 Lightweight hat to block sun during the two day canoe trip
- Rain gear, Jacket & Pants
- 4 Bath towels
- 1 Washcloths
- Comfortable hiking/walking shoes (a must for north woods experience)
- 1 pr. old athletic shoes or outdoor sandals fit for north wood experience
- 6 pr. cotton socks
- 2 pr. non-cotton socks (wool or water wicking ideal)
- 1 water bottles
- 1 Laundry bag
- 2 Swimsuits
- 1 sleeping bag for north woods experience and bunk + twin sized sheet and blanket for cabin bunk.
- 1 Stuff sack (keeps sleeping bag small and tight for over night canoe )
- 1 pillow with pillow case
- Sunscreen (Waterproof SPF 30 or higher recommended)

- 1 pr. non-cotton long underwear
- 2 Handkerchiefs / facial tissue
- 1 backpack/dry sack (for over night trips and up north supplies)
- Journal book and writing utensil
- Letter writing materials and stamps

- Camera with film
- Book (to read on travel days)
- Bowl with lid (Tupperware is perfect)
- Lexan Spoon and Fork
- Playing cards
- Verbal car games for the long road trip
